Installation Safety Standard: Always size circuit protection (ANL, MIDI, or MEGA fuses) to protect the cable run attached to these terminals against dead shorts and thermal overload, in compliance with AS/NZS 3001, AS/NZS 3004, and ABYC E-11 standards.

Official Product Manual & Wiring Guidelines

Manufacturer technical instructions, safety precautions, and troubleshooting procedures.

1. Safety Instructions

WARNING: POWER THE CERBO FROM THE BATTERY
Always power the Cerbo GX MK2 directly from the system battery, never from the AC-out of an inverter/charger. If the inverter shuts down due to a fault, a Cerbo powered from AC-out will also lose power, preventing it from recovering the system — a deadlock.
WARNING: INLINE FUSE REQUIRED
The supplied DC cable includes an inline 3.15A slow-blow fuse. Always ensure this fuse is intact. Do not bypass it or use a higher-rated fuse.
CAUTION: VE.Can TERMINATION
Both ends of every VE.Can network must be terminated with the supplied blue RJ45 terminators. An un-terminated bus will cause communication errors across all connected devices.
Note: The Cerbo GX MK2 is rated IP20 — indoor use only. Do not expose to rain, condensation, or direct water contact.
